IBANXS, de snelst groeiende aanbieder van Open Banking-diensten, versterkt zijn platform door de migratie van het Amerikaanse AWS naar de soevereine cloud van Proserve in Nederland. Met deze stap zet de fintechorganisatie in op voorspelbare kosten, datasoevereiniteit en naleving van Europese compliance en wetgeving. Proserve, onderdeel van team.blue, levert een volledig beheerde Kubernetes-omgeving die het snelgroeiende platform van IBANXS ondersteunt bij de veilige en betrouwbare afhandeling van de transacties.
Toegang tot meer dan 2.500 banken in 31 Europese landen via één platform
Het IBANXS-platform biedt organisaties en SaaS-providers via één platform toegang tot meer dan 2.500 banken in 30 Europese landen. Voor deze dienstverlening is IBANXS in het bezit van een door De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB) verleende Betaalinstelling-vergunning.
Het platform ondersteunt zowel Account Information Services (AIS) als Payment Initiation Services (PIS) en vormt daarmee een concurrerend Europees alternatief voor de gevestigde spelers als Visa en Mastercard. Het transactievolume groeit maandelijks fors en de verwachting is dat deze groei de komende periode verder versnelt. De combinatie van groei van het transactievolume en aangescherpte Europese regelgeving (PSD2, DORA) maakte de noodzaak voor een robuuste, toekomstbestendige infrastructuur urgent.

Bij de keuze voor Proserve speelde niet alleen schaalbaarheid en kostenbeheersing een rol, maar vooral de noodzaak om te voldoen aan de eisen van De Nederlandsche Bank en Europese toezichthouders. Volledig beheerde Kubernetes-omgeving in Nederlandse datacenters
In recordtijd realiseerde Proserve een volledig beheerde Kubernetes-omgeving op het VMware-platform in Nederlandse datacenters. De omgeving bestaat uit gescheiden productie-, test/acceptatie- en sandbox-omgevingen, inclusief eigen database-clusters en RabbitMQ messaging-services. Ook de SaaS-diensten van ElasticSearch en GitLab zijn geïntegreerd binnen het platform, waardoor IBANXS minder afhankelijk is van externe leveranciers en de data footprint beperkt blijft. Dankzij de combinatie van CI/CD-expertise en de nauwe samenwerking tussen de teams, konden de eerste transacties binnen enkele weken succesvol worden verwerkt.
Met de overstap naar Proserve legt IBANXS een solide basis voor verdere Europese groei. Fully managed Kubernetes environment in Dutch data centers
In record time, Proserve set up a fully managed Kubernetes environment on the VMware platform in Dutch data centers. The environment includes separate production, test/acceptance, and sandbox environments, with dedicated database clusters and RabbitMQ messaging services. SaaS services such as ElasticSearch and GitLab are also integrated within the platform, reducing IBANXS’s dependence on external suppliers and limiting its data footprint.
Thanks to the combination of CI/CD expertise and close collaboration between the teams, the first transactions were successfully processed within weeks.
